Dealing with the loss of a loved one can be overwhelming.  I am thankful for people like R. Thomas Murphy, Barb Stefanic, and Sally in particular who have been so helpful  in walking me through the painful process of selling my Mother and Father’s home after my Father’s passing. The weight of going through this whole process has been lifted considerably by all the advice and help from Mr. Murphy’s Law Office.  They have also been extremely efficient and helpful to My Husband and Myself in preparing legal documents for our personal needs.  We give this practice and their staff an A+.

My siblings and I made a wise choice in selecting R. Thomas Murphy’s law firm to represent us in the handling of our mother’s estate. After our first two meetings, we realized we were in very capable hands, those of Attorney Jared Childers and his estate assistant, Amanda Langland. Our initial questions were thoroughly answered, and helpful suggestions were made.

Most of the remainder of our meetings were conducted by Amanda.  She was very knowledgeable, professional, and sensitive to the recent loss of our Mother. Amanda was punctual, organized, and informative. Meetings were planned to accommodate our schedules, and our phone calls were returned in a timely manner. We always felt Amanda had our best interest at heart.

My family and I have been working with Tom Murphy over the years. Over the past few months, the contact and work has increased while working on my dad’s estate. At a stressful time, dealing with questions and paperwork, Barb Henicle has done a fabulous job in meeting our needs. She’s been available for calls, emails and office visits. It’s just a matter of bringing an item to her attention and she’s able to take over from there. I really appreciate her efforts. The task of paperwork and resolving issues would be more daunting without her help and input. Tom has a great, professional office that is ready to help when needed.

I highly recommend working with Atty Jared Childers, and his paralegal Susan Barlup, if you are planning for long term care or medical issues. After going back and forth with 2 other Elder Care attorneys, who basically did nothing for us except charge us for their time, Atty Childers was able to offer a very clear and logical plan to handle my dad’s specific financial situation. And he was happy to meet with us to explain, without charging us first.  Huh???  Does any attorney actually do this?  Yes.  Unfortunately my dad passed away before we were able to make all the arrangements, but we only had to pay a nominal fee for the work they did, which was more than fair. Give their office a call, they know what they are doing.
